We keep it simple
At MK Facility Group, compliance is not treated as an afterthought. It forms part of how we assess sites, select personnel, manage risk and deliver our services. Commercial facilities can involve complex responsibilities — from workplace health and safety and chemical management through to insurance, security, contractor management and site-specific requirements.
Our approach is built around understanding these obligations and ensuring appropriate controls are in place before work commences.

Public Liability Insurance
MK Facility Group maintains appropriate public liability insurance to protect our business, our clients and the facilities in which we operate. Our insurance arrangements are reviewed as our operations grow and are aligned with the nature and scale of the services we undertake.

Subcontractor Compliance
Where specialist subcontractors are engaged, MK Facility Group takes contractor compliance seriously. Depending on the service being performed, contractors may be required to provide relevant documentation.

Workplace Health & Safety
Our WHS approach focuses on identifying hazards, assessing risks and establishing appropriate controls before and during service delivery.
Personnel are expected to follow site-specific safety requirements, use appropriate PPE and report hazards, incidents or unsafe conditions through the appropriate channels.

Incident Reporting
If an incident, injury, hazard, property damage or other significant event occurs, personnel are expected to report the matter promptly.
Our approach focuses on documenting the incident, responding appropriately, investigating contributing factors where necessary and implementing corrective actions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.

Compliance Before Deployment
Our approach is simple: the right people, with the right credentials, for the right environment.
Before commencing work, MK Facility Group considers the requirements of the individual site and ensures personnel are appropriately inducted, qualified and equipped for the services they are engaged to perform.
This provides our clients with greater confidence that safety, compliance and risk management are being considered from the outset — not after work has commenced.

Compliance Built Into Every Service
Workers Compensation
Where applicable, we maintain appropriate workers compensation arrangements and recognise our responsibilities in providing a safe working environment for personnel engaged within our operations.
Chemical Management & Safety Data Sheets
Commercial cleaning chemicals require responsible handling. Where applicable, MK Facility Group maintains appropriate Safety Data Sheet documentation and procedures around chemical handling, storage, labelling, dilution and use.
Personnel are expected to follow manufacturer instructions and relevant safety procedures when working with cleaning chemicals.
Risk Assessments
Different facilities create different risks.
Before commencing certain services, consideration may be given to site access, pedestrian traffic, chemicals, machinery, manual handling, working at heights, electrical hazards, wet surfaces and other site-specific risks.
Where required, appropriate risk assessments, safe work procedures or SWMS documentation may form part of the service planning process.
Working With Children & Sensitive Environments
Facilities such as schools and childcare environments can carry additional requirements.
Where applicable to the role and site, appropriate Working with Children Checks and other required screening or induction requirements are verified before personnel are assigned.
Working at Heights & Specialist Services
Higher-risk activities require a higher level of control.
Where specialist services such as high-access window cleaning, elevated work platforms or other high-risk activities are required, MK Facility Group can engage appropriately qualified and insured specialist providers.
Relevant licences, competencies, equipment requirements and site safety documentation are verified where applicable before work commences.
Insurance & Compliance Verification
We believe compliance documentation should be actively managed rather than simply collected once.
Relevant licences, insurance certificates and other documentation can be monitored for expiry and renewed or reverified where required.
Site Inductions
Personnel may be required to complete an MK Facility Group induction as well as any induction required by the client or facility.
This helps ensure personnel understand site hazards, emergency procedures, restricted areas, security requirements, reporting procedures and other important site-specific information.
Client-Specific Compliance
We recognise that larger organisations often have their own contractor-management and compliance requirements.
MK Facility Group works with clients to understand these requirements before mobilisation and provide relevant documentation where applicable.
This may include insurance certificates, inductions, risk assessments, SWMS, personnel credentials, chemical registers, SDS documentation and other site-specific records.

Protecting your people, your property, your reputation is just as important as protecting ours.

Insured, Certified & Site Ready
At MK Facility Group, compliance, safety and protection are fundamental to the way we operate. We ensure our team members and subcontractors hold the appropriate qualifications, licences and site-specific certifications required for the environments in which they work.
$20 Million Public Liability Insurance

MK Facility Group maintains comprehensive Public Liability Insurance, with cover of up to $20 million, providing protection in the event of accidental property damage or third-party injury arising from our operations.
This level of cover helps us meet the insurance expectations commonly associated with commercial properties, construction environments, strata facilities and larger contracts.
Certificates of Currency can be provided to clients or site management where required.
White Card & Site Certification
Where work is undertaken on a construction site or in an environment where a White Card is legally required, personnel assigned to that work must hold the appropriate Construction Induction (White Card) certification.
Before personnel are allocated to specialised or higher-risk sites, we verify the relevant qualifications and site requirements.
Depending on the scope of work, this may include:

-
Construction Induction / White Card
-
Working with Children Check for applicable education environments
-
Site-specific safety inductions
-
Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) where required
-
Appropriate PPE and safety equipment
-
Additional licences, training or competencies required for specialised work
